The Dog opened his Express newspaper today to read a very frightening and alarming article by Renuka Singh. Two customs officers and a woman kidnap and beat an airport security guard for, get this, DOING HIS JOB. WTF!!!
NB: his job in a nutshell is to not let anyone into restricted areas of the airport without proper identification.
“Because of the stringent security now in place for the upcoming Fifth Summit of the Americas, the guard on duty informed the men that he needed his superior's clearance before allowing unauthorised persons onto the compound.
When the officer turned away, both men pounced on him and dragged him bodily into the marked Customs vehicle. He was held in the van and repeatedly punched and beaten, according to reports.
The security guard was then taken to the Customs Office on the same compound, where he was again held and continually beaten. “
“Estate Police Association Andrew Dardaine confirmed the reports in a telephone interview on Tuesday and said that Airports Authority guards rescued their colleague as soon as they found out what had transpired. The injured guard was immediately taken to the hospital, where he was treated and discharged. He has not returned to his job because of injuries sustained in the attack.”
“Dardaine explained that this "turf war" has been going on for some time between both offices, “
"If they want a war, they could get a war, but that is not the objective of the exercise at the end of the day."

So the bandits are out kidnapping, raping, robbing and killing citizens (the murder toll is almost double the number of days gone thus far in the year. A human year btw not a dog’s), while the persons whose job it is to protect are themselves victimizing other citizens. Come on people! What is going on in our once sweet sweet T&T? From the ongoing soap opera that is politics to this . . . . what should the Dog expect next? Bandits arresting police for selling them drugs? Panday at the helm of the PNM?

If you think that's bad Dog,listen to this. A youth in Belmont was laughing at two big men arguing, no big thing right. Well after the argument one of the men came back and shot the youth. Things are really going to the dogs. Sorry Dog I mean cats. H
